slavery poem

by JC

Slavery back then.......

Driven far away,
Missing father and mother,
And all the games we used to play,
Shoved into an unknown ship,
While bodies died from hunger and starvation
on the voyage trip,
Taken to places far and wide,
With each place awaited a misery surprise,
One by on we were left in a country,
Unknown to us and we could see nothing,
This was perhaps an instant trade of slavery,
But could of been done?
