The borderline spies,
The borderline lies,
Rips open a scar, damaging trust and hope.
And yet when the truth is told,
It only slows down the wound,
Making more enemies and destroying allies.
The only cure would've made us more compassionate,
But too late, it's gone, it cannot be brought back,
Leaving our country helpless, vulnerable, and crippled.
